so i wasn't going to update but realized that i should for old times' sake   so you see, it's my last day of work at the Fed and well...let's just say that a lot of my posts have come about while i've been at work here   so...one last time to cap off the world's longest internship!!!! hehee

let's see...since i've last updated...been to boston (yea for tas buddies, yea for ECSC kdphis!!!)...spring fling has come and gone (yea for ning, tiff, george, jody, hana for coming and yeaaaa for the lambdas for letting everyone trash their house!!)...hey day has passed (congrats juniors! we got you GOOD )...formal and senior banquet have both come and gone (thanks jeff for coming with me, thanks to all the wonderful people who were filmed for me, and many thanks to the younger girls for the bestest senior banquet ever!)...and now it's my last day of work...

coming up?  2 finals, senior week, graduation, convention, then finally some chillin at home in LA until i have to come back to philly to move into my new apartment and join the labor force...for realz...

anyhow, can't wait for the next few weeks...the past week has been SO MUCH fun lately   love the fact that no one has much work to do so it's all play play play heehee

yea for VTECH and JMU for coming up to philly this weekend!!!  tina, alice, koko, clara, erica and carol--mommy loves youuuuu!!!   been so long since i've seen you girls...and the rest of my tech babies, i'll see you this weekend!!! 

so fusion was this saturday...dearie me...umm...yeah   if i saw you saturday night and don't remember, SORRY!  it's not personal, i don't remember a lot from that night and if you saw me do something funky, please let me know...based on what people have told me so far, on one hand, it's funny as shit and on the other, embarassing as hell hahahahahhahaha   but overall, good times   i remember being there and i made it til the end!  mission accomplished    OH, i saw bianca!!!  it's been AGES since i've seen bianca!!!  

next adventure?  boston this coming weekend!!!!  get to visit tiff for a few days and catch up on all those good TAS days...and of course, it's ECSC at BU too so i get to play with all my kdphis again!!   PETRA-i'm counting on you to be my partner in crime again!!  for old times' sake   OHHHHH any TAS people in boston--i wanna see youuu!!!!!  i just don't know how to contact anyone...

and a couple weekends after that...FLIIIIING!!!!  yea ningie, tiff and tina are coming to philly to enjoy the wonder penn calls spring fling   and visit me and eddie of course   ooooh and BUSTA!  we get to see busta in concert!! anyone know how they're gonna start selling tickets on the walk?  still kinda mad that 50 cent boned out on performing at relays...even though i think i'm gonna DIE if i hear any of those damn spring break songs again...AHHHH

what a morning...

ok so this totally deserves an update...it's sunday early afternoon and our entire building's already been evacuated because of a fire...so i'm sitting in the living room watching tv, drinking coffee and the fire alarm goes off...my first instinct?  i get up, go to the door and lock it so we don't get caught in our room during an alarm...but as i walk back into the room, i smell smoke...and so does ayesha...and then we start to SEE smoke coming from the floor of our bathroom...and after we determine that it's not just us being paranoid (with the confirmation of tina), we grab our coats and shoes and run out...where we're informed by our next door neighbor that there is indeed a real fire on the 13th floor...and we're on the 14th...woohoo...so we scamper down the stairwell, telling everyone we see that there's a fire...and emerge in the cold windy slightly drizzly day...oh yea...so we stand outside our building for a little bit, trying to see smoke coming out of the windows and worrying that this new sprinkler system they installed over the summer is gonna pour tons and tons of water over all our stuff...since it's so cold and our jammie pants are clearly NOT meant for the winter outdoors, we head over to the lobby of south where we hear that it's 1303 that's on fire...the apartment directly below us...woohoo even better!   already, just 10 minutes after the alarm goes off, rumor has it that 1303 had a burning pot and decided to put the fire out in the bathtub...where the plastic shower curtain promptly caught on fire...but getting antsy, joyce, tina and i decide to grab brekkie...so we're off to mcd's with our skank morning breath, retarded bed hair and mismatched clothes...after making a few calls, we find out that it's flooded...down to the 5th floor at least...and tina and i get worried...so with another call to tiff, we find out that the 14th floor is a-ok, no flooding, no smoke, no burning, no nothing   yippeee!  gosh...i don't even WANT to think about what would have happened if our sprinklers had gone off and soaked everything...or if the fire had traveled up to our apartment...WHEW...so we're back in our apartment, everything's good, though a little smoky...back to another lazy sunday
